These are some excellent books on Father Heart of God. I first heard the teaching on "Father, Heart of God" during my Discipleship Training School (DTS) with Youth With a Mission (YWAM). I subsequently realised that not many have heard this teaching. But so many of us as Christians need to know God as Father.
This is an amazing and truly inspirational story of a father and son. A father who loves the son so much that he gives him so much love and encouragement.
If you are not aware, Love Singapore which is a a network of Churches in Singapore organises a 40 day prayer fast annually from 1 July to 8 Aug and with end with a gathering called The Day Of His Power where Christians gather together to Pray, Praise and Worship. This year is the 11th season/ year of the 40-day prayer and fasting mobilization. This year 127 Churches are participating in this significant event. Last year in 2006 during the same period, a movement of 24/7 prayer for 365 days was started. 52 participating churches have been rotated to pray for Singapore day and night for 24 hours 7 days a week for the past one year. I am believing God for a mighty breakthrough in 2007, that God will hear from heaven above, the prayer of His believing saints and His heart would be moved and He would be touched and He would come down in His Power and display all His glory and splendor and rescue Singapore from the enemy and use Singapore mightily to be fulfill her destiny and her calling as the Antioch of Asia, the Light of Asia, the land of Goshen.
