These are some excellent books on Father Heart of God. I first heard the teaching on "Father, Heart of God" during my Discipleship Training School (DTS) with Youth With a Mission (YWAM). I subsequently realised that not many have heard this teaching. But so many of us as Christians need to know God as Father.
This is a confession from Willow Creek Community Church leaders about the "seeker friendly church" that they have built and the result of this kind of church. It may led to tremendous church growth and big churches but does not create true disciple-makers of Jesus Christ. They confess that they should have taught their members the basic spiritual disciplines of reading the bible, practices of prayer and relationships rather than focus on programs and participation. This research was done in 30 other churches and it was consistent to what Willow Creek experienced. The findings of the research are documented in the book "REVEAL : Where Are You?"
